Recipe: Snickerdoodles
Summary: December 2 - A Cookie A Day Until Christmas! This recipe wasn't even on my list! I asked Jeff what cookie he wanted today and this is what he requested. So, what the heck, everyone loves a good Snickerdoodle...except my friend, Tammy, who doesn't like cinnamon and that's the only thing I don't like about her!
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup butter
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla
- 1 tablespoon milk
For rolling (unless you're Tammy):
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine dry ingredients.
- Cream sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and milk. Combine with dry ingredients.
- Combine cinnamon and sugar.
- Shape into 2" balls and roll in cinnamon sugar.
- Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
